| I endorse Cedric Peachey's comment about the de Morgan exhibition, and recommend everyone to visit. The trustee has provided the perfect environment for the exhibits and the de Morgans represent, in part, a movement sadly lacking in our present world of mass produced goods. Wandsworth Council should be proud to be host to this collection and I will be very sad if we lose it. The de Morgans were local to the borough and lived in Battersea House where the exhibition was once housed. Is Wandsworth going to be known for its excellent support of culture and education or not? Lets keep the museum, libraries and the de Morgan collection in the borough and give them the surety that they remain. No-else is going to leave such exhibits/collections to the people in the borough of Wandsworth if the council do not provide a secure and safe envirornment for them. |
