| There is a great deal of speculation regarding possible lottery grants for the museum. The Heritage Lottery Fund publishes its own guidelines on the subject, but having recently obtained some funding from them for the acquisition of an important tile panel for the De Morgan Centre, I believe they do not assist with running costs (the key issue for the future of the museum) and setting up costs take a very long time to come through, and are subject to a.) secure premises being available, b.) a detailed and costed business plan. Advice from HLF itself is the most reliable. |
