| I did wonder where the 3 disused chapels were in the Borough. If we are looking at a "fait accompli" at the closure of the main museum, why not set up 3 small museums housing 3 separate parts of "The Wandsworth Collection". I hate to think of these objects just being dumped and neglected in a chapel and not being seen by the public. My suggestion: 1) The history of Wandsworth 2) Children's Wandsworth 3) Wartime Wandsworth These 3 small museums should still be run with the aid of corporate sponsorship, see my comments above. |
