| I just received this...I dont know whether copy and paste makes unreadable... suggest you do the same and send it on to as many people as possible. The Management Committee has held an emergency meeting and is launching a campaign to save the Museum. The Society played a key role in the founding of the Museum 20 years ago and we want to see it continue long into the future. We will be sending out a letter to all members asking you to write to the Mayor, the Leader of the Council and your local councillors to persuade them to think again. As soon as you receive this, PLEASE TAKE ACTION. A decision will be taken by the Environment and Leisure Overview and Scrutiny Committee on 6th FEBRUARY so time is short. The monthly meeting at 8.00pm on Friday 26th January, OPEN TO ALL, at the Friends’ Meeting House, Wandsworth High Street (opposite the Town Hall) will be devoted to a talk and discussion about the history and the future of the Museum. PLEASE COME. |
