| Quite agree museums give an understanding of the past and are not just there for an artistic elite. Museums and "the arts" enrich all our lives. Can you imagine a life without music and art. I think someone wrote in one of the local papers, that Wandsworth is seen by some as a stepping stone before they move onto somewhere like Surrey. This isn't the case for me and my family, we are here to stay, and I want cultural activities locally, not just in Central London. We have visited the wonderful Hogarth exhibition, but didn't know about the Foundling Museum, so will definitely give it a visit. |
