| I am absolutely in agreement with this. A museum isn't just a place for schoolchildren to visit or a collection of artefacts; it is an area's collective memory. We have to understand what we were in order to appreciate what we are and might be. I believe that each generation has to act as custodian of that memory and that no one has the right just to do away with it. |
