| Surely before any major proposals/action are discussed at the appropriate Committee ( shortly before being presented to the Executive Council for approval also)all the issues such as whether the Courthouse would make a suitable library, as you have suggested, should have been evaluated, or am I being naive? Also, West Hill is as near the Town Centre as can be - there is a bus stop from which you either walk back a few yards to the Library or walk down to Southside so exactly how central does the Library really have to be. Dedicated library goers find it easily enough. If the Museum is under-used that may be because although WBC do publicise it, it just isn't enough, otherwise more people reading this thread would have known of its existence already. |
