| Yes happy to oblige. I see on the "Putney" website that you and Wandsworth council are running a "green champions" award. Instead of "100 families promising to recycle all their glass jars" to help the environment, it would be far quicker if the Mayor got rid of his gas guzzling limo and replaced it with an electric car. A GWiz car being my suggestion. The limo could go in a museum, if there are any left in the Borough, where it belongs. You could then award the Mayor the "green champions award". I think you are a very pro-car Council, so if you want to support your "green pledge scheme" perhaps you could increase hugely the cost of business permits in this Borough and also the cost of parking in "Pay & Display Only" bays. You are encouraging car use by your low charges. |
