| I don't quite understand how closing the Museum and replacing with a Library would save money. Surely staffing, equipping, keeping books up to date would cost more than the Museum? People have mentioned West Hill but surely Alvering Library is also in central Wandsworth? This may be a silly idea. but why not move West Hill Library to the Court House and put the Wandsworth Museum into West Hill with the splendid De Morgan museum which attracts people from outside Wandsworth. Then concentrate on better publicity for both. Worth a try? |
