| So many unanswered questions Cedric. Perhaps Councillor Grimston would like to submit his proposals to the task force set up by The Conservative Party, chaired by John Tusa, as announced on the 2nd February under the title "Conservatives seek to achieve excellence in the arts." and explain to both them and us how his proposal for BAC squares with his party's intentions. If he has a few minutes, perhaps he could then comment on David Cameron's statement of 18th January concerning social responsibility i.e. "The key is cultural change. When people realise that the system will help them rather than get in their way when they try to make a difference in their community - then imagine what a flowering of enterprise and commitment and innovation we will see." and explain how his autocratic approach to closure of the museum sits with his party leader's intentions. Are Wandsworth Council Conservatives nothing less than "loose cannons" and an embarassment to the national leadership on these issues? |
