| what I would like to have is more details of the proposed storage of "the Wandsworth Collection" in the 3 disused chapels. if we are looking at a "done deal" and the inevitable close of the museum in Wandsworth town centre (and i would love to be proved wrong) how are Wandsworth council intending to make the chapels suitable for the storage of museum objects. you can't just dump them in there. are they going to spend money to make the chapels suitable for the storage of these items. i would like to say also that i am very sorry for the museum staff who may lose their jobs, particularly as they will have special knowledge from building up the "Wandsworth Collection". |
