| PS re the West Hill Library site: Previous posters have made the suggestion that Wandsworth Museum could be rehoused together with the De Morgan Centre on West Hill. This wouldn't necessarily be within the remit of WBC as, although they run the Wandsworth Museum, they have no jurisdiction over the De Morgan Centre other than being its landlord. The De Morgan Centre is financed and administered by an independent charity, the De Morgan Foundation. My concern is the future of the West Hill site as well as Wandsworth Museum itself, and that must be taken into consideration if there is going to be a new library a few hundred yards away in Wandsworth town centre. |
