| Unfortunately, Thames News on ITV quoted the wrong, higher figure too. They also repeated the claim that the proposed closure was due to a shortfall in central government grant. WBC evidently believe it is now fair play to use propaganda to misinform borough residents who may not have been aware of their plans and the wider public through manipulation of the broader media. I guess we should be heartened since it indicates the council is loosing the arguments and therefore feels forced into trying to embellish it's case. |
