| Surely after watching Martin Lewis' programme tomorrow & learning that one's house may have been overvalued during the 1991 'sweep' WBC may be at risk of having to refund a lot of people. I would expect this could cause a knee-jerk reaction & force their hand into closing more than just the museum. If anyone thinks councils wouldn't behave like this, just look at what some PCTs have been doing to dentists' money over the last few months - in some cases, trying to force a dentist to breach his NHS contract so the PCT can get more money from the patients. Should be a national scandal but it all happens quietly at local level. |
