| This thread was the first I had heard of these plans. I'm appalled. I have spent many happy hours in this museum, both on my own and with my children when they were younger and have always enjoyed it. I thought the reason it was moved from its site in Putney Library to its current location was to allow display of more of our rich local history; the old court house is also an interesting building in its own right, so it seemed an ideal combination. Whatever are the Council spending money on if they can't find the cash to keep this going? Helen |
