| On various projects, a lot of people say "I don't mind paying a little bit more Council Tax to keep this one going". The trouble is that there are many such projects, as I'm sure John Horrocks will confirm. And if we pay a bit more Council Tax - which we shall be doing anyway - there is also no guarantee over the years that "the little bit" will go to any specific project. I like the latest I idea of starting a "Friends of Wandsworth Museum". At least any money paid to support the group will be reserved for the Museum. Getting business sponsorsip is also a great idea. |
