| If the demise of Brightside Magazine could help save Wandsworth Museum then then let's choose to keep the museum. Once the museum is closed and the contents dispersed it will surely be impossible to recreate. Local people would, in future, be reluctant to donate artifacts and treasures to temporary exhibits, especially once permanent and experienced staff have lost their jobs and are no longer in control of these precious items. I am a resident of Putney and have visited the museum. It does not get the publicity it deserves. If Sainsburys was approached, as suggested by one contributer, I am sure they would lend their support. They have many stores in Wandsworth. |
