| I think this is one of the most interesting discussions in recent months and it highlights several important points ; the value of this site and other somewhat similar organisations ( eg The Putney Society) in bringing local issues to the fore lest they be swept under the carpet without the chance for residents to have their input . One hopes there will be some positive solutions to the saving or merger of the museum and it may eventually require a financial input from members of the community in the form of partial sponsorship . If that is the case then I would hope that local businesses would also contribute as another opportunity to return something worthwhile to the area in which they operate . |
