| I remember when the Greenwich one was set up - it seems to have flourished for a long time. However,leisure trusts which deal with services like sports facilities which earn an income seem to survive. CIP is trying to use the same model across the whole of an old leisure services dept. Not only do some chunks of it not bring in an income, but a combination of poor management and an internal culture which has no ambition, means that it it only interested in statutory stuff like libraries and the sporty stuff. |
