| We are indeed looking at the fireworks display in Wandsworth park, and lots of other measures which will be announced over the next months or so. I guess we could could stop investing in our parks and commons, reduce recycling rates, stop cleaning the streets, reduce refuse collection, close libraries, cut back on noise and hygiene monitoring, stop pavement and road repairs and so on, but I am absolutely convinced that these would cause more problems than the Museum closure to get to the same saving and I would not support them. |
