What made me think you were reponding to my post was that in the first paragraph you directly referred to the HSE reference I had given. I now understand that your 2nd paragraph was a non sequitur to the first and you are not promoting construction dust as being any where near as important a pollutant to worry about as diesel particulates. There are some figures further up the thread (20/02/14ish) on construction machinery: "Though for the heating emissions the breakdown for NOx sources is shown in figure 12 of the TfL Health action plan that I mentioned as 7% domestic gas 9% non-domestic gas Most of the rest - 12% - is shown as 'NRMM - Construction' (perhaps someone will tell us what NRMM means)."
