| Cambridge City Council has published the first report on the 2013 campaign of remote-sensing trials that I have seen : https://www.cambridge.gov.uk/sites/www.cambridge.gov.uk/files/documents/Cam_VEMS_ProjectReport_v1.0.pdf It's not good news for most of their buses and it doesn't look as if even fairly recent Euro 5 diesel buses do much. They also have a lot of concerns over the state of taxis and float the idea of restricting pick-ups at some significant taxi ranks (train station, ?airport) to accredited low-emission new green cabs to encourage the changeover to better vehicles. There was also a comment that they found the emissions performance of a new diesel-hybrid car (Peugeot?) to be poor. |
