Yesterday (3rd), SIte 3 hourly average peaked at 130ug/m3 and again at 100ug/m3, versus a mandatory trigger point of 200. (figures from LAQN) Yesterday the wind from significant and from the West. Site 3 was upwind of PHS. It was as upwind as it could be. Where's it coming from? It's not from PHS. It's not a freak local source like a car parked by the meter, as the peaks are sustained. Is it just coincidence that planes were flying directly over that area and wind direction was optimum? That's my theory, what's yours? |
