| I do think busses blocking the high street traffic flows and also the busses coming and going from the bus depot are a major contributor to the high pollution levels. Busses come and go from the depot carrying no passengers at all and I don't believe hybrids will solve this issue either the will still block the traffic flow and pump out pollutants. I do not see any benefits from the depot being basesd in the middle of a residential area and any defense re loss of economic or jobs is just rubbish. We could probably see a 1/3 reduction on pollution levels if this was moved to a brownfield site. |
