| From preliminary figures released by the Council there has been some improvement during 2013. We are only four times over the EU limits now! There's still a long way to go and the cleaner the buses get the more it shows up what other vehicles are spewing out. Especially diesels, and especially high powered top end diesel cars whose NO2 emissions are now higher than they were 5 years ago - the price for that higher performance is being paid by those in the car behind and on the pavements. |
