Considering the priority that is supposed to be given to Putney, I would be surprised if they haven't all been done by now. The 22nd October TfL Surface Transport Panel got this snippet in the MD's report : "9.3 Orders have now been placed to fit selective catalytic reduction (SCR) equipment to 900 buses of Euro 3 engine generation by April 2014. Currently 277 vehicles have been converted in addition to the 60 vehicles retrofitted in 2012 for the Games programme." Combined with Finn's comment in early Jan that 600 had been done, I would guess that they are on track to complete the 900 by March/April (and hopefully the ones they are working on ow are at non-Putney serving garages). Presumably the moving annual average will start to level off when we get to 12 months after the first introduction of the modified buses. |
