While not perfect - we only had diffusion tubes out for a month - the distribution pattern of the Putney Society survey of NO2 levels in central Putney clearly shows areas west of the High Street and away from the Upper Richmond Road returning levels within EU guidelines while those to the east less so. Our conclusions remain that the closer to a main road you are the higher the levels, but background NO2 does not appear to be high once you are a street or two away from the main sources. In other words the idea that aircraft are contributing other than marginally to overall levels seems very unlikely. I can't post our map here but if you email me I can send it.
