It looks as if Putney will today breach the annual EU limit for the number of hours it can have NO2 levels above 200ug/m3. CleanAir London has pointed out that Oxford Street exceeded the maximum allowable number of hours (18) on January 2nd and expects Putney to match that today : http://cleanair.london/sources/oxford-street-has-breached-nitrogen-dioxide-hourly-limit-value-for-2015/ Looking at the graph at http://www.londonair.org.uk/london/asp/advgraphssiteplot.asp?CBXSpecies2=NO2m&day1=1&month1=jan&year1=2015&day2=6&month2=jan&year2=2015&period=hourly&graphtype=Java&Submit=plot+the+graph&site=WA7&res=6 I've only managed to count 17 so far, but it isn't looking hopeful....... |
