| Interesting indeed! On first glance I also notice that several London Boroughs (all more down river) are in favour of tunnel while Richmond is opposed and Wandsworth disappointingly appears under column "unclear/no views expressed"? The more one hears about the cost of that project, the more one wonders about the sanity of the plans. £3.5-5billion or £50.- per year extra on annual bill. At today's interest rates that equates to an extra burden of £10,000+ per water rates payer (Present value of £600 pa at 4% for 20 years!) and much more for families! There must be better ideas in these financially challenging times......... |
