| I too visited the exhibition this morning and asked to see the options' appraisal documentation - not available. Many glossy leaflets and much window dressing but no substance. I want to be convinced that Barn Elms and Putney have been chosen for the right reasons and that the analysis is robust. I also want to see the detail of the works and how it is planned to minimise their effects - including, very importantly, how they propose to protect the Wetland Centre. How can one respond without information? I suspect that the decision has already been made and this 'consultation' is a box-ticking exercise. |
