I've spoken to the Thames Tunnel people today. They confirmed that they have the right to compulary purchase but they don't want to use that right unless absolutely necessary. I've also asked them for more information on the following: 1. detailed information about how poluting each CSO is (of the 57 along the route, apparently 36 are considered most polluting and 34 are covered by the Thames Tunnel project from 22 CSO sites). So that answers that earlier question - you don't have to have a CSO site for all the most polluting CSOs. 2. detailed information behind decision to short list the current proposed sites (including detailed cost benefit analysis). When i receive it (if!) I will make it available. Sian |
