| Boris condemns Thames Water in his usual colourful language and Edward Lister talks about "the battle". The article then goes on to say "Like Wandsworth Council, the Mayor has confirmed his support for the sewer project's aim - improving water quality in the Thames - but is concerned that the locations earmarked for major construction work are unsuitable". Surely as "supporters" of the project they could cooperate with Thames Water in identifying suitable sites rather than continuing to campaign against them? Or perhaps this approach would not be a vote catcher. |
