| No sympathy for Simon Lee from me. Quite the opposite. When I asked him to confirm or deny that he had made deals with private companies for their use of the common for profit, he refused to comment. He also refused to comment on whether he had made these deals without the approval of the board. I posted on this forum my exchange of emails with him some months ago. I commend John for taking the time and trouble to meet one of the new conservators and for keeping levy payers informed. The conservators themselves are, as ever, totally silent - perhaps because of the various gagging orders they were ordered to sign before standing for election. One of these orders prevents them from making any public comment without the permission of the chief executive. Simon Lee. |
