'I've seen information, well, bad news, going upwards being filtered as it heads towards the board/CEO on at least a couple of occasions. So it's possible those around Starmer did "protect" him from the bad news'

And did the CEOs appreciate the fact subsequently or feel their ability to manage the company was compromised ?

In either case these must have been weak people and inadequate executives.

But we are not talking about some tin-pot IT company.

We are talking about the governance and security of the nation.

Does Starmer not read the papers ?

Does he not find 5 minutes a day to skim BBC News Online ?

Are you really saying he did not know what Mandelson had done and who he was associating with ?

Can he read ?

Does he have a mind of his own ?

He is supposed to be running the country for God's sake.

He made an awful decision to make a paedophile's friend the Ambassador to our closest ally with whom we share and rely on much that makes our country secure.

The buck stops with him.

As regards Ange as his replacement, my money's on Samantha Niblett MP !!

And she sounds up for it (Geddit !!).
