My understanding is that Rayner still has outstanding HMRC issues and Burnham doesn’t have a seat.  The real issue here is why Starmer ever thought Mandelson a suitable candidate for the US ambassador role given his past and everything Starmer already knew about him. 

I object to being called “noise” if you happen to disagree with an issue which l have heard constantly this morning.  Why didn’t Starmer come to the HoP on Wednesday and apologise in the first instance.  Only Labour can get rid of this lame duck PM and it shows the current back bone of their MPs as to why he is still in situ.
