| As a previous post stated 'whilst the council tax remains low' Wandsworth will be able to do what they want when they want and pay huge salaries-bonuses to themselves in the meantime. Most services are contracted out [to the lowest bidder] So what use we have for these executives I don't know! All services recieve four stars from the Audit Commission. Even when it's obvious the job or contract is not up to standard. When voters decide there's more to good governance other than a low Council Tax. We as a borough might see Housing, Education & Health Services improve. Put a few more Labor Cllr's alongside Cllr Belton and we might see an improvement. I'm horrified at the propergandist rubbish dished out by these executives. Whilst they pay themselves huge salaries. Raccateurs the lot of them..whatever dat means. Any private reputable firm won't have anything to do with WBC. |
