| In response to Suzanne, all I can say is that I do not see the distinction between public and private in the same clearcut way. Massive elements of the private sector are almost totally dependent upon the public sector, how could it be otherwise with 40% of the economy being in the public sector. High pay in the private sector is as relevant (to me) as slave or child labour was to reformers in the 19th century - similarly high and low pay are as important to me, public or private. |
