| Councillor Belton I have always appreciated that you have voted against these high salaries and would never accuse you of being "just a public sector junky". Unlike our dealings with the private sector we have no choice who we pay our council tax to(it has to be WBC) so surely we have the right to require WBC to be the most cost effective e.g. by combining services and/or cutting top salaries. Thereby requiring all Councillors of whatever party to come together to achieve this. Our problem is - nobody is doing anything obvious! |
