| Hello Lucille, Welcome back!!! I am delighted with your post as it clarifies many points. I do not support Hamas by any stretch of the imagination but, and there is always one, I do not agree with the bombardment by Israel in Gaza. And I agree with you, Benjamin Netanyahu is not a nice person as he is not an understanding leader. He admits Israel let its guard down when Hamas inflicted the horrific and unforgivable terrorist attack on October 7th. I would expect that Israel is now on high alert. That does not mean that I feel very sorry indeed for the civilians in Gaza. As I said before, not all Palestinians agree or have joined Hamas. As you say, the war in Ukraine seems to have been forgotten and it really breaks my heart. Lovely to hear from you again! Take care and have a very happy New Year. Let us hope for a peaceful 2024 |
