Oh and just to add, amidst all this talk of lack of transparency and the attempt at satire in re-writing WPCC's Q&A, if one cares to look at what WPCC's Q&A REALLY says, amongst other things, it sets out the professional valuation they obtained for the so-called ranson strip: "The professional advice that the Conservators obtained initially set the valuation for the easement with the Primary Care Trust at £250,000 for the proposal to build a Primary Care Centre and residential flats, but this was subsequently increased to £350,000 for the proposal put forward by Wandsworth Council to build a school and virtually identical residential flats" So a professional valuation was obtained and the figures has been published. Looks pretty transparent to me. I am inclined to put more trust in this professional valuation than the amateur valuation available from FoPC, but each to his own. |
