| Are the police positioned at the Keswick Road end of the roadworks as well as at the Putney Hill end? It would seem silly just to catch and fine the ones who cycled along the pavement at the end if they are not showing them the diversion at the start of the one-way, as pedestrians still have to squeeze out of the way on the narrow pavements regardless of whether the cyclist is penalized at the end of it. I hope there are officers at the east end of the pavements stopping cyclists entering as well as fining the ones who still ride down the pavement. This would make my walk up from Putney Hill a lot more pleasant! |
