| Walking home along URR from the station this evening it was near gridlock. Some foolish motorists were blocking Putney Cross and more were doing u-turns when they realised how bad it was. An awful lot of the traffic was private cars with one person in them. Perhaps the excessive congestion we will "enjoy" while these roadworks are underway might persuade some of them to consider alternatives such as walking or cycling? Some of those car drivers looked like they needed some exercise anyway! |
