I was out in Putney and Wandsworth last night and saw the gridlock from about 4pm to past 8pm. It seemed to stretch over a wide area from the centre on to many roads, and buses and cars were hardly moving. I have written to the top management of TfL, as well as to Wandsworth Council officers and to the Borough Police Commander. After three days of this, they must jointly assess the disruption, rethink the working pattern, and ask SGN, the gas company, to find a better solution. |
