"Father Son and Holy Post"... Was the entertaining headline on the front page of the Wandsworth Borough News this week... God and The Royal Mail...A beautifull British combination...Two beautifull British institutions working in partnership...A beautifull thing... What better way to teach the "youths of today" some respect for great British values. If a post office opens in the church maybe the vicar of St Mary's might say to youths entering the post office: "Hoodies please leave your knives at the door...This is a house of God!" And quite right too it is rude to take knives into church... Maybe it would do the hoodies some good to enter a "house of God" to receive their parcels containing "knives, porn and fags" ordered illegally over the internet..Or maybe just to post a letter and drink a "skinny-mocha-choca-latte-skinny cappacino-whip with sprinkles to go please." It would force the hoodies to show some "respec innit" to God,purely by entering a house of God and respect to the monarchy by licking the back of the Queen's head...Not literally that would be wrong,I mean by licking the back of a postage stamp. Maybe this could be a clever way to get the youth to absorb some Christian values such as...Well I don't know really, just whatever Christians believe I suppose...Loving people and not stabbing them and stuff I guess... Stuart King has got an article about this on his website... |
