| John I am more than happy to work with Cllr Lister or anyone who is opposed to the closure plans. Indeed, I have already been in touch with Wandsworth councillors about the "Essex plan" and am sure that given the council's commendable opposition to these proposals, they will be looking at all that they can do to support the post office network right across the borough. It must be hoped that the Essex plan is transferable to a borough like Wandsworth. On the face of it I see no reason why it shouldn't be. In the meantime I encourage people to sign either the online petition I have set up (see below) or the paper petitions organised by the ward councillors.
