| Martin, I got my information from the Essex County Council website. It does not, I am afraid, offer as much information as we would all like to have on this proposition. Anyone who knows Lord Hanningfield, the Leader of Essex Council (and I would imagine that our Leader, Edward Lister, will know him, as fellow Conservative Leaders of important local authorities) would be able to ask for fuller details of what is being suggested. It must be an idea worth investigating if we are serious about trying to save our local Post Offices -as a vital community asset. |
