| So burning people homes and business premises is NOT a threat to everyone safety, so it was not dangerous. I totally agree that all this scumbags deserve whatever sentences they get. My heart bleeds for them, "we have no money, we don't have anything to do, we have no where to go" please give it a rest - change the record, - I sorry but if people really want to know what poverty and going without is like they should talk to someone like my 89 year old Mum. She was a child of the depression (born in 1922) my grandfather had a very good job as a printer until he was laid off and then he never worked for five years -he got a meagre amout each week to feed and clother a family of 8, did they go stealing or causing arson NO BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL DECENT LAW ABIDING PEOPLE WHO JUST HAD TO PUT UP WITH THEIR PROBLEMS AND DO THEY BEST THEY COULD. Oh and by the way they still had to pay their rent, and no demanding that they were overcrowded, three boys in one bed.three girls in another, my grandmother worked and worked for her family and could hold her head up high. Do you see children going to school these days with no shoes on their feet, or if they did have some, two siblings having to share one pair of shoes, if they did not fit properly hard luck, but some mothers would feel ashamed if they went to school barefoot. Yes they went to school, because if they didn't the School Board man would come around and find out why they were absent, and however poor the family was, they had manners and respect. Nowadays if the local education authority wants to know why a child does not attend school no doubt they would be told by the parents to F*** Off and mind their own business - what are you going to do about it??? Do any kids these days have stale bread and marg for their tea (stale bread was half price and the end of the day and they could not afford butter) Some of these people who were caught rioting etc make me laugh - hardship and poverty they don't know the meaning of the word. They have benefits by the bucket load, they just need to lean how to budget and get their priorities right, not just sit on their backsides and demand more and more and think that the world owes them a living, and that just because they don't have this or that, that it is their God given to have it however they get it. I'm sorry for ranting on but I am sick to death to hear all these sob stories. |
