To answer Mark I believe Malbrook is having sinusoidal humps is due to the fact that when they measured the average speed of cars using our West Putney rds Malbrook scored over 24mph.   However I think the DofT requirements are just guidelines.  I personally am amazed that Howards Lane is not on the list given the fact that WBC have had to recently remind drivers of 30mph due to cars speeding.  Many cars already parked in Howards Lane are damaged due to people pulling in too fast.

I personally don't think any roads immediately off URR should have humps (Malbrook, Colinette, Dealtry, Balmuir etc) and just our long roads e.g. Howard's Lane, Chartfield, Westleigh) that filter eventually into Putney Hill should have speeding measures.  I personally would prefer cameras as I loathe humps due to the cost of putting them in.  Save the money and just state West Putney is 20mph.
