| I'm not familiar with Sefton St but there is a similar problem in Disraeli road. The lights only stay green for about 20 seconds when leaving Disraeli Rd so cars are often very close together, yet pedestrians take incredibly stupid chances by walking between moving cars as they accelerate away. Ironically the more cautiously one drives away, the more pedestrians will walk between moving cars! The most likely pedestrians to do this seem to be black teenagers with attitude, they seem to almost dare you to run them over. (and no this isnt a racist comment it's a factual statement based on living in Disraeli Road) And as for cyclists coming up the high street and ignoring the red light when traffic is exiting Disraeli Rd, sooner or later someone will be run over. |
