| The thing is, Simon, that roads being busy doesn't always mean they're nose to tail with traffic, and drivers will often speed up when they get a free stretch - absurdly, because they're only getting to the next hold-up sooner. And I've certainly seen people driving at reckless speeds on that road (as you know, I live just off it). And I've noticed that some motor bike riders sometimes drive at obscene speeds there and I've been quite concerned to see it, as well as the usual idiots droning into their mobiles. |
